Life has a funny way of working out. Last Saturday Hell on Heels had our annual Valentine’s Day show. This was the show that marked my debut. It’s been a complete year since I first walked on stage. I remember that show and how unbelievably nervous I was. I was so afraid of messing up that I doubt I had as much fun as I now do on stage.
This show marked the same feelings, for a similar reason. I decided to start incorporating fire fans into my routines and this was my debut. I can’t even begin to tell you how nervous I was, but afterward I was riding a wave of adrenaline. In my life I’ve had my own ups and downs, much like everyone else, but I never imagined in a million years that my life would lead me to be on stage with such amazing women doing something that I love dearly.
These women have taught me so much about myself and inspire me each in their own way. I am so grateful for them.
On that note I hope everyone has a great Valentine’s Day, and if you weren’t able to catch our show last Saturday, here is a quick picture that the lovely Ruby Champagne was able to capture backstage.
